Where we go from here

I will be adding blogs to the site and each blog will address a different topic. I'll cover, the dirt on dirt, how to feed your plants, what to do if they look like they need 911, how to grow succulents, houseplants..., the importance of wildflower or pollinator gardens (and how the heck do pollinators even work, and by the way, what exactly is a pollinator), starting seeds, propagating your plants (making babies), and much more. Growing together

This website in an interactive space. It would get real boring real quickly if I was the only one with the ideas and solutions here. I want all of my fellow Garden Hobbits to contribute. Things like ideas, solutions to problem, hey, even questions;}) All I ask is that criticism be constructive, and kindness. There is no room for hate in the world of Garden Hobbits. This is supposed to be educational, informational, and above all else, FUN!

Patience

Just like gardening takes patience, so does The Garden Hobbits new website. I have a lot of wisdom about growing plants, website construction, not so much! So, please be patient while I learn this foreign language. I'm old, you know, so it takes more time than it used to for this old dog to learn new tricks. Speaking of dogs, you will be hearing from Nola, the brave dog that protects the Garden Hobbit, her gardens, and continually patrols the perimeter keeping us safe from squirrels and chipmunks. However, she tends to let the bear do whatever it feels like doing.
