Knowledge - Slaying the Dragon
Beginning (and experienced gardeners) often fail at successfully growing a plant or plants because they aren't familiar with the knowledge needed for that specific plant. All plants basically need the same elements - proper soil, proper amounts of water and light, a a temperature that makes them happy. The problem we all run into at some point in our great gardening experiment is getting those elements correct for the plants we are growing. That's where this website comes in. Between all of you and me we help get those factors in line so you can be successful with your gardening and plant growing endeavors. Together we can slave the knowledge dragon!
Goblins and Trolls
Once you've figured out all the right growing conditions for your beloved plants, we must focus on the goblins and trolls lurking out there!!! I'm talking about pests and diseases. Yuck. Just when things are going along swimmingly, our plant(s) start to falter. They start to look, well, weird. Did I use the right soil? Of course. Have I over watered them? Nope. Are they getting the right amount of light? You bet. Are they too cold or too hot? No way, Goldilocks. So why do they look like H. E. double toothpicks? The answer could be little uninvited plant dwellers. Or maybe some exotic jungle disease. We will delve into those little mysteries and find ways, as naturally as possible, to bring our babies back to a hale and hearty state of being.
